With the roots of her career anchored in political and issue-based campaigns, Samantha understands the significance of authentic relationships, building effective coalitions, and successfully implementing proven strategies to advance mission-focused initiatives.

Since returning her focus to Florida Politics in 2012, Samantha has earned the reputation of being a tireless advocate, connector, and partner to organizations strengthening Florida’s future.

Throughout her career, Samantha has demonstrated an ability to successfully navigate Florida’s legislative, executive, and regulatory systems for some of America’s largest companies and create scalable opportunities for several household brands. While serving as Director of Government Relations at the University of Florida when the university achieved and sustained top 5 status on the USNWR list of public universities, she spearheaded efforts to reimagine constituent and stakeholder engagement, supported efforts to secure resources for far-reaching initiatives, and collaborated on the design and implementation of targeted communications.

After ten years of representing brands as an in-house government affairs professional, Samantha joined the top 10 Florida-based lobbying firm Corcoran Partners as a partner in 2022.

While at Corcoran Partners, she helped new and seasoned clients secure appropriations, tap into influential relationships, establish advocacy and communication strategies, and shape the regulatory environment.

Channeling her passions for service and empowering women and girls, Samantha serves on the Pace Center for Girls, Hillsborough Board of Directors. During her decade of service with the Association of Junior Leagues, Samantha served on The Junior League of Tampa’s Executive Board as the Leadership Director (2023-2024), as President of the Junior League of Tallahassee (2020-2021), and Chair of the Junior Leagues of Florida State Public Affairs Committee (2019-2020).

In 2022, Samantha was selected to join the American Enterprise Institute Leadership Network, an exclusive policy education and professional development program for exceptional state-based professionals in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.

She is also a member of Florida Blue Key, the oldest and most prestigious leadership honorary in Florida, and a graduate of Leadership Florida Connect Class V.

Samantha lives in Tampa with her husband, Taylor, and their son, Wellsley. They are active members of The Church at Channelside, a Downtown Tampa church plant.
